In our center, we are not interested in completing the process as soon as possible, but our importance is focused on the patient’s health even after the operation, so the patient is asked before performing the process of injecting fat in the face to do the necessary medical analyzes and to ensure that the patient does not suffer from any health problems such as high blood pressure or sugar or Heart disease, blood thinners, etc.
Type of anesthesia
Anesthesia is preferred in most cases of fat injection into the face, but topical anesthesia can also be used in cases of suction and injection of small amounts of fat.
After anesthesia, the area from which liposuction will be injected is injected with a saline solution added to it with a local anesthetic to reduce pain after the operation, as well as a substance that reduces the occurrence of bleeding during the operation – adrenaline – and this is done in certain proportions according to each region. Then through a small opening less than ½ cm the necessary liposuction is then processed, filtered and deposited in many ways, and then re-injected into the place to be reshaped by a specific syringe designated for that.
Usually more quantities are injected than required, as studies have proven that 50% of the injected fats are absorbed from the body and dissolved within a month to 3 months from the date of surgery.
The process takes between half to an hour and a half, depending on the amount of fat to be injected and it may increase slightly.
No sheaths or straps are placed after the procedure, and it is advised to make ice packs for 7 days and then warm water packs after that to reduce the chance of swelling occurring.
After the operation
The patient is discharged from the hospital on the same day of the operation and the patient gradually begins to practice his normal life within 2-3 days.
Pain after facial fat injection is possible and some analgesics can be taken. Also, there may be a feeling of numbness in the skin that may last for some time, and swelling and blueness of the skin may occur and most of the time does not last more than 7-10 days.
Do you still scared injections, my dear?
